IPI service delay Update
The rail network continues to work through ongoing ramp congestion, labor
challenges, and car
imbalances. Winter Storm Miles became the 2nd major winter weather event to
strike Chicago
and Kansas City in the past two weeks. These two events have created a
significant backlog of
pickups, deliveries, and crosstown in the Chicago and Kansas City markets. All
rail carriers will
continue to restrict volume in select lanes to/through Chicago. With more
winter weather
predicted this week in Chicago, this step is necessary to maintain network
fluidity and prevent
the current backlog from increasing.

These loads are expected
to be on hold through Monday, February 28.
